This week’s squares for Wise Craft’s Granny Square Sampler Afghan were all about a circle in a square. I think they are my favorites we’ve done so far.
The three top ones are Squircles from Dly’s Hooks and Yarns. It is a little time consuming because of all the crocheting into other stitches, but I like the look of the flower center in the square (though my yellow and white one looks a bit like some strange square fried egg).
The bottom square is Wise Craft’s Circle in a Square. This one crochets up like a dream. She has done some beautiful pillowcases with it. I tempted to do a few myself now.
Here’s my growing square collection….
It’s really feeling sunny and happy.

That certainly is some sunshiney yarn. Well done and I am glad to see your sense of accomplishment in trying something new (second time new, anyway). I have been meaning to ask how your wrist is doing.
I cant wait to see this all together. Such nice colors and design.
