The house has kept me so busy I’ve had a lot less time to work on projects than I thought. We have the major projects done inside now though & can’t start outside until spring so now I have time to work on other things. Perfect timing too since we are expecting up to a foot of snow this weekend so I can curl up in front of the fireplace with a movie, some needles & some yarn…heaven!
I finished the wedding blanket & am going to show it even though Kathy & Daniel haven’t received it yet. They knew I was making them one. Hope they like it. The pattern is Jo Sharp’s Sunday & the yarn is Debbie Bliss Donegal Tweed. I’m pretty happy with how it turned out since its only my second cable project.
I fell in love with Allsorts
Elf Clog pattern when I saw it on the Craft blog so my Mom & I tried making some over Thanksgiving weekend. I thought they would look cute on a tree so I sized it down 25% to about 2 inches. Here’s my effort. I think I need to work on my blanket stitch. I also need to do a red felted ball for the toe. I’ll try again & see if I get any better with practice.

Your works are lovely! The cables are perfect! And that elf shoe – love how the edging stands up! Nice job.
The blanket turned out really nice! I love the look of the yarn. I’m sure they will love it. The ornament turned out really cute as well.
