#23 - New project
Today I cast on for the Hufflepuff mittens. I’m using the Ann Budd mitten pattern from The Knitter’s Handy Book of Patterns. The mittens will have the Hufflepuff house badge on the front of them. I’m using a crossstitch pattern from The Leaky Cauldron to do the badge. The yarn is Vanna’s choice in Mustard & Black. I’m making for a 7-year old so they should go faster than Matt’s huge mittens. The design though is only on one side so I have to figure out what is the best way to carry the color or perhaps I should put the design on both sides. This pattern has three colors in it so a new challenge for me.

Handmade 365 2010- My goal is to spend time everyday working on something handmade for a year & photograph it.
