I got a lot of the duplicate stitch done on the Hufflepuff mittens today. Its much slower going than I thought it would be, probably because of the small gauge. I think it looks pretty good though, will anyone know its a badger, the symbol of the Hufflepuff house? I actually had to go look it up to see what it was supposed to be. Oh well, I’m sure the idea comes through anyway. The one issue with doing the pattern in duplicate stitch instead of intarsia is it does create a very stiff area on the mitten.
