#56 – Apology to a Sock

IMG_1494
Dear sock,

Sorry I have been ignoring you. I know you are sitting there patiently in a bag next to the couch. I know you would be so easy to work on, something I can do without any stress. But you see I’ve met a quilt. I know it makes me frustrated & question my crafting abilities but it’s new & challenging & exciting. I know you will always be there, on the needles, ready to except a row or two whenever I have the time or once the shine on this new relationship wears off. I promise someday you will have a toe & even a match.

Handmade 365 2010- My goal is to spend time everyday working on something handmade for a year & photograph it.

    • the nice thing about inanimate objects is that they can't vocalize complaints about neglect. haha it will be pretty when you get around to finishing it
