I don’t know about you guys, but I never seem to have enough bags and cases for all my stuff. You know a case for my Kindle, a bag to carry small knitting projects, a cool new purse. In that vein, this week we’d like you to create something to hold something else.
Here’s a few things I’ve made in the past to get your ideas flowing…
Quilted Vinyl Kindle Sleeve
Cloth Grocery Bag
Buttercup Bag
There are a million ideas out there and I’m sure many of you have some of your own.
Post date is Wednesday, September 28th. Only in progress photos should be posted before that date. Please tag photos with IC39 and IronCraft.

I have a purse my sister handmade for me in the same fabric as your grocery bag. 🙂
Silvia – I think it’s a pretty popular Ikea fabric.
I love your Kindle sleeve. Did you use a pattern, or just wing it?
Linda – I just winged it for the sleeve itself, but the quilting pattern is based on a bag in Denyse Schmidt Quilts book.
perfect timing! i’m trying out multiple bag patterns at the moment, because i’m terrified to cut into my Ruby Star Rising stash until i know exactly which bag i’m going to make with it.
Oh it is good timing as I have a pattern sitting on my work table. I am so up for this!
