#145 – The Tricky Part

#145 - The Tricky Part
With all the other quilts I’ve made the fabric blocks have all been the same size in at least one direction. This made for pretty easy piecing as I could just sew rows together & then attach the rows to form the quilt top. For this quilt there are four blocks which are four times larger than the others so they are actually in two rows. It took a little more thinking & planning to piece this section of the quilt together. I just took it slow & kept it laid out as I went to make suer things stayed in the right order & seams were pressed in the right direction.

Handmade 365 2010- My goal is to spend time everyday working on something handmade for a year & photograph it.
