We are slowing pulling looks together for our new downtown loft. We needed a new bed, so the bedroom has taken priority over most of the other rooms. I put together this little look board to show you where we are going with it.
Isaac Charcoal Bed from Crate and Barrel – It is really hard to find a solid bed with nice clean lines. I like this one because the upholstered piece is easily removable to change out the fabric.
Alina Bedspread from Ikea – A lovely weight for summer or for an extra layer in the winter. Plus it is a really beautiful shade of gray.
Nyponros Duvet Cover from Ikea – I’m saving a little money and just recovering our old quilt with this cover.
Astore Place Carpet in Heather Grey from Stanton Carpets – A natural wool carpet in an ecru and grey heather. It ties the grays and our light maple trim together nicely.
Pergo Grey Yew Flooring from Home Depot – I’m not sure this is the exact color will be using, but it gives you a good idea. This will not be going on the floor, but on the wall behind the bed.
Malm Dresser and Nightstands from Ikea – These are a holdover from our current house. The lines are simple and the color works, so they will stay for now.
Stonington Gray Paint from Benjamin Moore – Apparently this is one of the most popular grays around right now. It has a touch of taupe to it and is very neutral.
I am still looking for sheets and a cotton blanket. Target is usually a good place for both and has some white sheets with a small light gray print on them I might try. I also will need new bedside lamps as our current ones are brown. I haven’t decided whether to keep them simple or go for something more dramatic.
