My Girl is turning 4.
This year, there are lots of opinions about what her birthday should look like, and feature. (Cut to endless flip recordings of her outlining the details.) There were instructions about the cake, the pinata, and of course, the presents. All of the directives centered around “princesses, princess castles” and ” Toy Story”. Not the whole movie, but just Woody, Jessie and Bullseye.
We had the party at House Of Air, a Trampoline park.
The hats and the sheriff badges came from Party City. The bandanas came from Michael’s.
To add a little bit of love, I monogrammed the hats and the bandanas
The kids liked the hats more than I thought they would. Phew!
My husband secured a Jessie Pinata in the Mission. So, we gently suggested that would be neat.
And it was SUPER.
Here we are, with the girl herself.
And that breath taking picture is taken by a professional. Jet Kat is a wedding (and family) photographer. One of the best in the business for sure.
(Kate is a friend of mine too. Lucky us!)
And to my girl, who is no longer a baby, you take my breath away. Still. You are always happy, and full of energy. Your fluffy curls, your long legs, your words, your songs, your smile, your jokes… I love you head to toe. Happy Birthday!

Looks like a great party. I love the photo of the 3 of you. You all look so happy. Nicely done party. I can’t tell Lucas you all were at a trampoline park- he wanted that for his party.
SO SO SO fun. We will go back. With and again without the little person!
What a gorgeous girl. You raised a good one. Good job, Mama! And congrats on the successful party!
Thank you. I was feeling like it is still partly MY celebration too. How fun!
