You all watched me working on Christmas projects since July, so now it’s time to see the finished results. For my mantle I went with a natural, silver and white color scheme.
Here are the pinecones I collected this year. I had planned on turning them into a garland, but once I started playing with them, I prefered how abundance they looked piled on the mantle. I put tiny led light throughout them and add my knit stars on top.
One side of the mantle is anchored by my stenciled burlap candleholders.
While the other side featured the moss-roofed village I made.
The whole this is topped off by a twig wreath that I embellished with silver and white floral picks. Because of how this wreath is made I was able to attach the picks without gluing them in, that means next year I can redo this wreath in a completely different style.
On another shelf in the living room, my jeweled trees add a festive touch to the house candles I bought at a Scandinavian design store in Madison, WI.
My dining room table (which you can see from the living room) will continue with this same color scheme. I’ll show you that tomorrow.
