DIY Inspiration: Yarn and Felt Wreaths

I have to say, the Target holiday section is just so full of DIY inspirations this year. Here’s a couple of colorful wreaths that caught my attention.

This one could not be simpler, its just a styrofoam wreath form wrapped in yarn. We’ve all seen this around the web. I think the use of non-traditional Christmas colors makes it very fun.

These were smaller, ornament-size wreaths, but I think could easily be done bigger. They are just discs of felt sewn together into a circle with a bow (a sad bow at that). The small size is a great use for scarp felt. For a bigger wreath, I would use a good heavy, thick felt and put the discs on a wire that was shaped round.

Have you seen any good holiday decor inspirations while you’ve been out shopping?
