It’s just three months until the Minnesota State Fair, which means I need to get in gear if I’m going to enter something. You might remember last year I took Second Premium in the Colorwork Mittens category.
It was encouraging to win my first time entering, so I’m excited to try again. Now the First Premium winner tends to be Scandinavian in design.
I could totally go in this direction and since it doesn’t have to be an original design I could even use the one I picked up in Sweden. But I decided to do something with more of a Minnesota bent, it is the Minnesota State Fair after all. I’ll be adapting my Goldy Gopher design adding the University of Minnesota cheer, Ski U Mah, and the school “M”.
The gopher is the fair ambassador too.
I’m hoping the risk of doing something different pays off.
