It is a bit of a crazy time at Just Crafty Enough’s Minneapolis headquarters. We have decided to pick up stakes and move to a loft downtown. While we love our little tudor, we really wanted to be someplace more walkable and urban. We found a beautiful space in our perfect area and it even has a craft room space for me!
It is a nice little space just off the kitchen. One wall has this built in desk and shelving. There is a free-standing cabinet on the opposite wall which is leaving with the current owners. I’ll need to figure out what type of storage I’ll want. I’m thinking some sort of cabinet to store yarn and fabric.
Let me show you the rest of the space, because I’m sure you are all going to see lots of home decor projects from me.
The main living area is a large open space with a balcony and fireplace. Matt and I have dreams of decorating it in a clean Scandinavian style. I’ve already started looking at tiles for the kitchen and new light fixtures.
Matt’s new office is going to take some creativity, because it will also serve as a guest room. Also it doesn’t have any windows, so finding ways to bring in light will be important.
The guest bathroom is a great size, but so not our style. After Matt’s office this will probably be one of the first rooms I tackle.
The master is really a bright beautiful space with skyline views. I think it will be easy to change to our style with sleeker furniture and some art.
I can’t wait to get in and get my hands on doing this place up. In the meantime, you can follow my Pinterest board of decor ideas.

This space is really nice. Have you bought it already? I had no idea you both were moving so quickly. It’s all very exciting!
Congratulations on your new space.
I love that craft nook with all the built in shelves. Perfect. Looking forward to seeing some DIY and decor posts as you work through the house.
That is a nice space. I hope I manage to find a place as nice when I go to Lexington next month.
I want to live there! Congratulations on your new home.
Re: Guest Room Lighting…. Hmmmm….How about a cornice at top of wall(s) covering soft reflecting ceiling lighting?????? Blend cornice into walls with same color paint..
