Our knitting class had it’s second meeting. (You can read about our first class here.)
Everyone pulled out their bags, and they really looked GREAT. Everyone had so much enthusiasm for their new hobby!
This week we looked at our knitting and talked about mistakes.
We talked about dropped stitches, slipped stitches, making a stitch (accidentally), and splitting yarn.
Most of the ladies were at a point where they needed to change balls. So I showed them how to weave in the ends, and then, if they wanted to opt out for now, I suggested they just tie a loose bow, and carry on. Then they can weave in the ends later.
(I promise to set my camera to live action and night time next week. Everyone was knitting so fast, and having so much fun, that I didn’t realize. Really, the beverage is not mine, and not related to the picture quality.)
It was super fun!

Now that is my type of class–beer and crafting! I will have to try that at home.
I said the same thing when I saw Susi’s pictures. I miss my knitting group in San Francisco, we used to meet every week at a bar & it was so much fun. Maybe I need to try to get a Minneapolis one going again.

That is the FAMOUS knitting group. That is a really amazing collection of people. (where was I that night? Holding the floor down at the store?)
I don’t know based on the date it seems really odd you weren’t there, especially since we knew we were doing the picture that night.
I agree with Dr. Russ! Drinking and crafting/knitting/quilting is on my list of one of the best ways to spend an evening. Sounds like a great night!
