I’ve seen quite a few versions of faux bois (fake wood grain) with a heart of it, letterpress, embroidery (Iron Crafter The Modern Lady did a wonderful version) and so on. I have to say though, quilts done with this pattern really make a statment. Here’s two that caught my eye.

Some people might find them a little too sweet, but in the right place I think they would add just the right amount of whimsy.

I saw one of these on pinterest and I fell in love. I really want to try making a quilt this year, but something this like will have to wait.
I really like these too! There’s not any real piecing, is there?
Abbie – I noticed that too. They look like they would be easy to make.
