I really like the modern look of this throw pillow from Crate and Barrel. That strip of black zipper really gives this color block pillow definition, a little bit like a Mondrian.
Zippers have been really trendy in design, especially fashion, so it only makes sense for them to show up in home decor too. I think this would be really easy to diy with the zipper foot on your sewing machine. Plus the zipper means it would be easy to get your pillow form in the cover.
