PPR AS Challenge #1 House of Cornish

I am so proud to be invited to compete in the All Star Challenge! (eyes fluttering)

Our first challenge sent us straight to the world of unconventional materials at a local .99 cent store.  I found a spray of flowers that I ‘liked’ and I wanted to make a skirt out of the petals.

I am pretty excited about how it came out. It is costumie. That is for sure. Chris March would be proud. But I think I embraced that non-fabric portion of the challenge.

And to make sure to speak to my competition’s level of execution (Mondo) I added a fascinator hat. It looks a little more “luau” than Fascinator, but still!

The dress is well done. And has a thought to proportion and scale.

What else will they have in store for us? Oh Project Runway, how I love you.

    • How did you get the flowers out of Miss A’s hands? I love the shape and the color of the skirt, she looks like she is ready to do some sort of latin dance.
