Challenge – The Art of the Matter
Collaborate on a work of art with a student. That artwork will be an inspiration for an avant garde design. The garment should be inspired by the artwork, but not a literal interpretation. This is not a red carpet challenge this is an avant garde challenge.

Since we can’t head off to the Harlem School of the Arts to work with a student, we’ll give you a couple of different choices. As your inspiration you can use a piece of artwork you have in your home, a favorite painting from a museum, or if you have access to a child, work with them to create an artwork. Make sure to show us your inspiration piece.

Time Limit – 24 hours

Accessories – Feel free to chose accessories from the Piperlime Accessory Wall to go with to go with your outfit.

Runway Day – Thursday, September 8th
Just a reminder only in progress photos should be posted to the Flickr group before Runway Day. Save the big reveal for next Thursday..
