This week on Iron Craft we asked everyone to make something inspired by their heritage.
I was inspired by my Scandinavian heritage to create a pillow with a leaf pattern based on a Scandinavian pottery design. This challenge became even a bigger trip into my heritage as I was contact on the Iron Craft blog by someone who’s relatives were taught by my grandmother in a one room schoolhouse in northern Minnesota. Check out my blog for the whole story.

I truly appreciate all of you who came up with a beautiful project for this week. Reading the descriptions made it so much interesting….this week was great.
I was a little stumped, will be back next week.
It was so great getting to know a little bit about everyone's heritage. This was a very cool challenge. (Even if I was a bit blocked. lol)
