It’s all about Peeps this week on Iron Craft because Susi challenged us to make something with this iconic Spring treat. I’m a big fan of all the peep dioramas you see this time of year & thought I’d try my hand at something similar. I decided my theme would be movie posters. So, here’s my first stab.
Kind of funny but, not as good as I hoped. So, on to attempt #2…
Ok, this was more like it. Though I think I like it even better without the words.
I love the effect & it was so simple to get. I printed a photo I had taken of downtown Minneapolis then taped it to the wall. In front of it I put the Peep bunny (hello, how mean does that Peep look?!) & a few toy cars on an upside down glass. Then, I applied the Cinemascope effect in Picnik to give it that slightly retro color & slight grittiness. (The version with the words has the Cinemascope & the 60’s effects applied to it.) This might just have to be my Easter card this year….

Now these are original. I did a topeepiary and I had a feeling someone else was going to do one too. It was fun though. I never even gave a thought to altering my peeps with a food marker though!
haha! Love it!
They are both great!
Wow .. Love the Black swan poster!.
Hilarious and genius!
