For this challenge we have to design an American sportswear outfit using Jackie O as a muse. The outfit must include apiece of outerwear. I started out with some sketches of ideas.
My sketching skills are not very good but I played with some proportions.
I decided to do a knit top & jacket so that meant knitting on teeny, tiny needles but also things knit up quickly.
I finished the body of the top & slipped it on my model when I imagined Tim walking into the workroom, taking one look at my bulky, ill-fitting knit top, putting his hand on his chin & saying, “Frankly, I’m worried for you.” Oh, I was worried too so, I found some grey jersey in my stash (actually, its left over scraps from a shirt I altered recently for myself) & started working on the same design idea with it. I think I’m much happier with how it is looking but I’m very worried about time as my model only has a top at this point.

Oh, love the second top! I also love that you imagine what Tim would say to you to keep you on track. Can't wait to see the finished outfit!
Excellent. I love the second top.
the west coast work room is not having a good time either. Tim is very concerned.
Second top looks good, bet the first opne looks just as good on.
