Today we entered week three of the On To Road To Spring Quilt Along. This week we’ll sew our quilt tops together. I spent a few hours this afternoon piecing together my first strips. It was easier going than I thought (which makes me thing I cut my squares better than I thought). I used a magnetic stitch guide to help me keep all my seams to 1/4 of an inch which helped an awful lot. I can already see its going to take awhile to figure out the order of the strips once they are all done to get it exactly right. For now 15 more strips to go.
Handmade 365 2010- My goal is to spend time everyday working on something handmade for a year & photograph it.
