Here’s the beginning of the spiral cowl. It’s pretty easy knitting but since my yarn is a little thinner than called for in the pattern my gauge is smaller so I had to add more repeats to the pattern. You don’t see the eyelets great right now but blocking will help that a lot. I really like the picot hem edging, it just looks so neat. I had a little confusion with the pattern because it tells you to move your stitch maker backwards 1 stitch after the 7 round repeat, actually you need to move it one stitch forward to get the spiral pattern to continue.
The yarn is Australian Merino Lamé that I bought years ago on from a clearance bin. I’ve never been able to figure out what to use it for. I really love the black sparkle in it.
