It just seems like I’ve been so busy working on the house I don’t get as much time for it as I’d like. Here’s a little sneak peek of the wedding blanket I’m working on.
The pattern is the Sunday Throw from Jo Sharp Home. The yarn is Debbie Bliss Donegal Tweed in a beautiful chocolate brown with flecks of cream. Its a little thicker than the yarn that was called for so I just cast on fewer stitches to get the correct size. This is my second cabled project & I’m really getting the hang of it. I was hoping to start a sweater tomorrow for National Knit a Sweater Month but its not going to happen since there are still 7 balls left to knit of this blanket. Oh well, December may be my knit a sweater month.
I went to see Crazy Aunt Purl at the Mall of America last week.
She’s quite a stitch & talks just like she writes. It was fun to get to see someone who’s blog I read so often in person.

LOVE the blanket!
(((hugs)))
The blanket is turning out beautiful! I hope those 7 balls you have left disappear quickly. I’m jealous you got to meet crazy aunt purl 🙂
Wow, she doesn’t look like any of her self portraits in this photo. I wanted to see her so I’m a little jealous.
Nice job on the blanket.
good to see you’re managing some knitting with all that housework.
