Its just a crazy time here…
but Make Magazine did feature this photo on their blog.
We had a lovely long Labor Day weekend on the Russian River with friends
While there I got a good start on the wedding blanket I am making my friends Kathy & Daniel. This is my first big cable project. No pictures yet as I want them to see it first. I’ve also started knitting popsicles for another store window but then accidently packed them.
Speaking of packing, we have started to prepare for the move.
I’ve pretty much packed all my yarn (except for traveling projects) & my knitting books. Funny the apartment looks emptier already. We’ve been having a lot of fun starting to think about decorating our first home. We need to repaint most of the rooms since they current colors are a little bright for us.
the greens are possibilities for the living room & dining room which are connected. The light blues are for the master bedroom (which will be blue & brown) and the browns are for the guest bath which has brown flooring.
I’m also in love with this rug at Pottery Barn for the living room.
It has all the same colors as the arts & crafts titles at the hearth & will go nicely with green walls.

The knitted picnic is so great!! I’m impressed! I know you’ll get lots of compliments on it.
Love that rug tooand al your paint colors are wonderful. Blue and brown is so nice together.
Moving out is a pain but I think moving in can be fun fnding new spots for everything.
I love all the knitted food, it’s so cute! And yay for the Russian River, I lived in Monte Rio for years when I was a kid.
Kat, I’m so bummed I didn’t get to see you before we both leave the city. I’m off to school on Sunday. Hopefully we’ll both be in SF at the same time in the future and run into each other then. In the meantime, we’ll just have to be super blogosphere buddies.
I love the knitted food, must be calorie free 🙂
The carpet is really nice and the paint you’ve chosen are really nice and would match well with the carpet.
I really like the style of house you’re moving into, I would love to see the inside!
Enjoy the move!
The BBQ looks SO CUTE!!
and the Russian River photos look very nice too!
Can’t wait to see the blanket!
but you are right, the recipient should see it first!
For a second I thought that corn was real. LOL Best of luck with the move.

No more San Francisco, that will be very sad! What will happen to your store?
