topless no more

I finished the first knit top for my little doll last night.

I’m not working on a little white & yellow cardigan. This project has been so much fun. I could put everything else aside & make her all sorts of little outfits. I forgot how sewing is instant satisfaction compared to knitting. Though these little sweaters go fast & what a great way to use leftover yarn.

I also wanted to say thanks to Terry who left the comment about tracing the pattern on wrapping tissue paper & sewing threw it & the fabric. What a great idea. I was trying to think what paper I could get that was like pattern paper. I will definitely try this with the next doll I make.
