the robot is done, yeah! i ripped it out 3 times on thursday night because i wasn’t happy with the way he looked. i think the problem was i was trying to carry the yarn too much. so last night i wound some bobbins & used different balls of yarn in place where i would have had to carry the yarn more than one stitch. it means a lot more weaving in but i think the results are better.
i do think the back is surprising neat & its not too thick since i did it this way.
i’ve declared it a knitting weekend & hope to finish the whole sweater. that is really fast based on sweaters i’ve done in the past & really makes me think i can do a lot more projects for the holidays (ok that is kind of dangerous). matt on the other hand has declared it straighten the house & write wedding thank yous weekend. hmm just 3 weeks married & we are already so off sync. heeeee
