The leaf scarf is done! Yeah! Here is it all laid out & also modeled by one of the lovely girls at Chicks with Sticks. I ended up just sewing the leaves together & am pretty happy with the results. I think it looks really sweet on (better than on the table anyway). Its about 5 feet long and I actually have enough leaves an yarn left to make another.
I got the Jess Hutchinson toy book yesterday & it is so great. Everyone at Chicks was going crazy about it last night. I can’t wait until we start our toy knit-along in January.
Now I have to decide what I want to work on next & what project to take home to Minnesota with me. Should I start some Cashmere bed socks? Or a toy? So many options….
I love it. I forget though where did you find the pattern? I know my sister would love one as she loves fall colors and fall things. Thanks.
that looks fabby! What a very kool idea.
Very nice! I like it a lot now that the leaves are sewn togeter – it’s very different and unusual. I’m sure it will get a lot of compliments!
Oh, I LOVE it! What pattern did you use for the leaves?
The pattern for the leaves is from Nicky Epsteins KNitted Embellishments…great book!
It looks fantastic. The colours are really nice.
This came out REALLY cute! I love the design- great job and lovely colors.
