Iron Craft Challenge #16 – Fail

So, on Iron Craft this week the theme was money. My idea was to make a wallet I could wear on my wrist while out walking. I wanted the wristband to be stretchy so it could easy come off and on. Repurposing an old sweatshirt seems like a great idea plus, it would be a good how-to for the blog.

I cut off the cuff and made it fit my wrist tighter.

Then a made a little pouch just big enough to fit my ID, some cash & a key.

What I neglected to think about was how much wider my ID is than my wrist.

Yeah, I think that might be just a little annoying hanging off the edges while I’m walking. I can just see it catching on everything. Plus, really, not that attractive.

Ok, back to the drawing board. Luckily, I have another idea for this week’s challenge that I think I can get done today.
