Three Button Sweater Progress

I am knitting a sweater for my daughter. It will be a replacement for her favorite sweater right now. I feel like I am in a race against time, so see if I can finish it before she is too big to wear it.

When I last left you, I had finished the picot edging, and I was working my way up the body. The trick will be to work out these pleats in the front so that it still fits and the pleats look right in this gauge.

I have created a pattern template on fabric. It is one inch gingham check.

The line across the chest is where the pleats will be added to the front pieces.

Stay tuned.
