Season 9 of Project Runway starts on Thursday, July 28th on Lifetime which means it’s time for another season of Project Project Runway.
It’s just like Project Runway with all the fashion, drama and fabulousness, only models are smaller. Susi and I are all ready to get started, but we are also looking for more designers to join us.
Here’s how it works:
- Send us an email through the contact form at the bottom of this page letting us know you are ready to make it work. If you have a blog sent the URL too and we’ll add you to the blogroll.
- Join the Project Project Runway Flickr group, so you can show us your designs each week.
- Get yourself a fashion doll. (Susi will be doing a post later in the week about choosing a doll.)
- Look for each week’s challenge here on Friday morning.
- Post your in workroom shots during the week to the Flickr group
- On the following Thursday morning post the pictures of your doll modeling your designs to the Flickr group.

I want to play! When I was a kid I spent all my “Barbie” play time either making clothes or designing her house. I never actually played with the dolls, they just sat on the side and watched.
My Barbie is the one with the bouffant from the 60s. Unless there is a Mad Men challenge I should probably find something with a more contemporary hair style.
Ooo.. sign me up, too! I looove this show far too much.
